2009 Lowest Car Accidents And Deaths In 43 Years
A recent report has found that 2009 was the lowest number of deaths from car accidents so far. With a 24 per cent decrease in deaths from car accidents, only 314 people have passed away. These car accident statistics from the Central Bureau of Statistics, have also found that this is the lowest number within the last 43 years that the Central Bureau of Statistics have been monitoring car accidents.
Unfortunately, the numbers for 2010 have already exceeded last year's number with a 13 per cent increase of deaths within the last few months. This is approximately one third of deaths which were experienced last year. It is always advised that individuals drive carefully on the road and avoid any distractions whilst in the car.
